First Tee Golf Lesson

Chipping - Around your backyard at home

After getting lessons on gripping the club, stance, setup and direction the ball is travelling, place chipping club (Sand Wedge (S), Pitching Wedge (PW), 9- iron) directly behind the ball.  In this "pause" before taking the club away, the arms should look like a "Y."  On the take away, the arms remain rigid in this "Y" position and the club head does not go above the knee caps before addressing forward toward the ball.  Keep the club head square and hit the ball and the ground at the same time.  After the ball has been struck, the arm follow-through should remain in the same, "Y" position and once again, not rising above the knee caps.  Click on the LEARN MORE link to this youtube link.

Kindergarten & First grade Activity Resources

This section was provided to have even more resources for children in grades Kindergarten and 1st grade.  These activities are truly "elementary" in nature, but certainly any student k-5 could also engage in all of them as well.  A huge Thank you to Mrs. Kathy Massaroni for scanning these documents in one file!  Enjoy and try to stay active!  Click on the LEARN MORE button below and start the fun!
